It’s official; a controversial attorney for Comedian Bill Cosby is joining his legal team.
A judge in a Santa Monica court Tuesday morning has granted a motion by Lawyers for Bill Cosby to allow Monique Pressley to join legal team in his defense. Pressley recently commented in defense of Cosby by questioning accusers rights to come forward after the passage of so many years. The comment prompted a stern rebuke from Plaintiff’s attorney Gloria Allred, who challenged Pressley to debate first amendment issues with her.
Pressley is a polished Washington D.C. based lawyer who has taken a hard line in her defense of the comedian. Tom Perumean, KABC NEWS.
