Mayor Garcetti Directs $13M for Short-term Housing

Mayor Eric Garcetti has directed using 13-million dollars in excess tax revenue to pay for short-term housing.  What is excess tax revenue?

With the city is making more money on taxes than it expected to bring in, or budgeted for, that windfall is called excess tax revenue.
