Lottery results: Wednesday Powerball expected at $360M

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in
last night’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery and the estimated
jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is expected to grow to about $361 million.
No ticket was sold with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number.
Such a ticket would have been worth $523,467, according to the Multi-State
Lottery Association, which conducts the game.
The numbers drawn tonight were 11, 17, 40, 50, 62 and the Powerball
number was 26. The estimated jackpot was $333 million.
The drawing was the 20th since the last time a ticket with all six
numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in
about 293 million, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of
winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.
The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia,
Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.

drawing will grow to $18 million.
No ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold. Such
a ticket would have been worth $38,554, the California Lottery announced.
The numbers drawn tonight were 5, 24, 31, 39, 43 and the Mega number was
24. The jackpot was $17 million. The drawing was the seventh since the last
time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in
41,416,353, according to the California Lottery.
