Hate crimes are going up in Los Angeles and some are pointing the finger at Trump’s rhetoric like Robin Toma with the Human Relations Commission.
“Trump was actually named as part of the hate graffiti that took place.”
Hate crimes went up 24-percent in LA County last year. Some like Amanda Susskind with the Anti-Defamation League are not surprised.
“There’s also been an increase in rhetoric online and social media, the uptick in extremist ideology going mainstream.”
They say more education can help curb the spike.
