The man who may be responsible for sexually assaulting a woman in Maywood is behind bars and now detectives are looking for any more possible victims.
Carlos Marquez with the LA County Sheriff’s Department says they’re looking for any connections between Salvador Martinez and four other similar attacks over the past two months.
“Our detectives will then look and see if there’s any evidence that will tie him to any of the other incidents. But every case has to be investigated separately.”
The 28-year old is being held on a million dollars bail after he allegedly raped a 30-year-old woman last week and took off to Fresno. Martinez was arrested Friday by U.S. Marshals and has a record of indecent exposer and for being a peeping tom.
Any other possible victims are asked to come forward.
