OC Beach Front’s Fate in Hands of State Supreme Court

The fate of Banning Ranch, the largest, last unprotected piece of coastal real estate in Southern California, is in the hands of the state Supreme Court. The 401 acres could be converted into 895 homes, 75,000 square feet of shops and offices and a 75-room hotel, along with 280 acres set aside for conservation. Or, conservationists’ efforts to prevent any such development could prevail.
