“Half” of Kevin de Leon’s family here illegally, he says

The leader of the California Senate says half his family is not only in the U-S illegally, but they’ve committed identity theft.

Democratic Senate Pro Tem Kevin de Leon made that admission while introducing his bill that seeks to make California a sanctuary state. De Leon told the committee that family members have acquired false social security cards, driver’s licenses, green cards — and that not they nor anyone else, should be deported because of it.

“with the executive order and the criteria that has been developed, many individuals, I can tell you half of my family, would be eligible for deportation under the executive order,” said De Leon.

This angered state republicans who question whether any of them used those documents to vote — and said state Democrats are making President Trump’s case for his executive orders.
