WannaCry Victims Refusing to Pay Ransoms

It looks like victims are saying screw the WannaCry hackers..and refusing to pay the ransoms. The New York Times is reporting that despite a week of disruption, an online tracking system showed that the amount sent in the electronic currency Bitcoin to accounts listed by the attackers had reached about $90,000 as of this afternoon in Europe. Early estimates of what the virus could ultimately earn have ranged into the tens of millions, or even hundreds of millions of dollars.
