Two Hispanic men, one in his 20s… the other in his 30s, grabbed and forced a 12-year-old girl into their car Monday morning while she stood outside her home.
Whittier Police Officer John Scroggins says she escaped after they stopped in a neighborhood about a mile away.
“Both suspects exited the vehicle, giving the victim clear instructions to stay inside which fortunately she did not listen to. As soon as she saw the opportunity, she escaped on foot.”
