Toughest Sheriff In America Endorses Local Congressional Candidate

Before President Trump pardoned Joe Arpaio, the former Arizona sheriff gave his endorsement to 43rd congressional district candidate Omar Navaro.

Standing outside Congresswoman Maxine Waters’ home in Hancock Park, he wasn’t worried about Arpaio’s bad publicity.

“How is he a racist? How is he all these things  that they’re saying he is. He’s not that. He’s a great man, he’s a good man and a good man who was tried by the liberal system which tried him,” said Navarro.

Navarro was joined by a handful of supporters who loved the endorsement by the former sheriff.

“The media wants to smear Arpaio as some kind of a racist who is engaged in unlawful profiling. He wasn’t,” said Navarro supporter Arthur Schaper.

Arpaio was found guilty of racially profiling latinos but was pardoned by Trump on Friday.

Navarro is running against Waters in 2018.
