The brush fire that broke out near the Mount Wilson Observatory in the Angeles National Forest before dawn this morning has now increased to 26 acres.
The blaze was reported about a quarter-to-5 in the area of Mount Wilson and Red Box Road. Some 115 L-A County firefighters have been deployed … along with at least two water-dropping helicopters.
How this blaze broke out during the cool of the night is not yet known.
