7-Eleven Ice Raid

By

/

A handful of 7-Eleven stores in the L.A. area were among the dozens that were raided by immigration agents this (Wednesday) morning.

Four stores in L.A. and one in Culver City were visited by ICE and Homeland Security agents where they interviewed managers and employees.

In a statement, ICE Deputy Director Thomas Homan said businesses that hire illegal workers are a pull factor for illegal immigration and they are working hard to remove this magnet.

Around 100 7-Eleven stores across the country were served notices of inspection. Twenty-one people were arrested for suspicion of being in the country illegally.
