The 26.2 mile long marathon begins at Dodger Stadium just before seven in the morning and ends near the Santa Monica Pier around noon.
Tracey Russell, CEO of Conqur Endurance Group, is asking non-runners for patience.
“We’re more than just maybe an inconvenience to the local residents but we really are symbolizing the adversity people face in their lives by coming out here and running for one of our amazing 75 non-profit charities.”
Runners will pass popular tourist attractions like Chinatown, L.A. City Hall, the Dolby Theater and parts of Route 66 and Rodeo Drive.
