Another Celebrity has Committed Suicide

A second celebrity has committed suicide this week.
Beloved bad boy chef and Parts Unknown host Anthony Bourdain appears to have hung himself at his hotel in France today. His death follows famed handbag designer Kate Spade’s suicide earlier this week, also from hanging. Both celebrities seem to have had it all and social media is filled with condolences and a lot of questions, as both were parents to a young daughter. Clinical and forensic psychologist Dr. Judy Ho explains what could’ve been his or her state of mind….
“When somebody is depressed, they can’t really see past the moment, they can’t really see that things might be better in the future and also depression makes you temporarily egocentric, but not in a narcissistic way. You’re just so wrapped up in your own suffering, you can’t even really concede, at that moment, someone else suffering.”
Dr. Ho was a guest on McIntyre in the Morning.
