Former Trump Aide: FBI spied on Trump White House illegally

A former Trump adviser says FBI surveillance of presidential candidate Donald Trump’s team continued after Trump assumed the presidency.

Dr. Sebastian Gorka told talk show host Larry O’Connor, “I have been informed by people – how shall I say this? – with very good connections to the American intelligence community, that not only myself, but people above my rank in the White House were surveilled whilst we were in the White House, illegally – but stay tuned for more.”

Dr. Gorka said that former FBI Director James Comey had been untruthful about multiple attempts by FBI operatives to entrap members of the Trump team into revealing alleged collusion with the Russians in the 2016 election. He pointed to Lee Smith’s article in Real Clear Investigations.

His comments come amidst the continuing controversy surrounding Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump’s presidential campaign.

Larry O’Connor, afternoon host on WMAL-AM, Washington, D.C., was filling for Doug McIntyre on KABC-AM, Los Angeles.

Dr. Gorka was a guest on McIntyre in the Morning.
