More than two dozen people became ill at a wedding in what became a bride and groom’s worst nightmare. Crews responded to an unincorporated area north of Moreno Valley just after 8 p.m. Saturday. They found five people vomiting violently, according to a spokeswoman with the Riverside County Fire Department.
Nine were in “moderate” condition, while 11 had “minor” signs of sickness. A hazmat team and county environmental health officials were also called to the scene.
The cause of the illness has not been determined. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating.
