RNC Chairwoman: GOP has a a lot to be proud of

The mid-terms elections are underway and the GOP is hoping to beat expectations.

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel says there may be a “blue wave today” in parts of the country today, but things have been looking up for the American people since Donald Trump was elected President.

”People are now doing better. I mean, you’ve now seen unemployment at the lowest at 3.7 percent since the 60s; the lowest in history for the African-American and Hispanic communities. The lowest in history for those communities. You’re now seeing wages go up – the first time it’s gone up over 3 percent in a decade. So many good things are happening in this country now because of the tax cuts, deregulation, because of Republican policy. The American people are doing better as a result, so I think that’s why we’re competitive.”

She says that having gubernatorial candidate John Cox at the top of the ballot is a plus for Republican candidates statewide.

”He is really a great candidate and would be an excellent governor.”

Ronna McDaniel was a guest on McIntyre in the Morning.
