L.A. Unified School teachers will not be striking this week.

UTLA Vice President Cecily Myart-Cruz says they are moving the strike date from this Thursday to next Monday, as both sides continue to try and work out a deal.

Teachers are pushing for more money, smaller class sizes and more school resources. LAUSD’s superintendent says the union’s demands would bankrupt the District.
