Lawsuit Against L.A. Ordinance On Guns Still Alive

A federal judge denied a request by the city of L.A. to dismiss the National Rifle Association lawsuit.  The suit is challenging a new law requiring city contractors to disclose any ties they have to the gun- rights group.  City officials say the ordinance doesn’t ban NRA- connected contractors from doing business with the city but the city has a right to know who they are doing business with.  NRA officials say the ordinance is the city’s way of silencing the voice of lawful gun owners.
