A special needs student in Orange County is dead after an accident.

Officials from El Modena High School say the 15-year-old crashed a golf cart into a pillar on Monday. The superintendent of the Orange Unified School District says the boy was being supervised at the time of the accident. She says an aide tried to stop him from using the golf cart. The investigation is ongoing.
