Great Streets Centinela: Walk & Talk with Los Angeles City Councilman Mike Bonin didn’t turn out to be the photo op the councilman was looking for on this October night. The public was invited but required a RSVP and featured a last-minute announcement of the meeting place where you can walk and talk with Los Angeles City Councilman Mike Bonin.
During the Great Streets Centinela walk, Venice resident Travis Binen managed to capture the moment Los Angeles City Councilman Mike Bonin walked away from a sunglasses at night-wearing homeless man who started a small fire next to his small encampment. There is no word on whether Los Angeless City Councilman Mike Bonin offered assistance to the homeless man who resides in his district.
The entire scene happened with the Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Division Station serving as a backdrop.
