Southern California Edison, San Diego Gas and Electric and Pacific Gas and Electric teamed up to place cameras around the hills and mountains of the state. The cameras are strategically placed and help firefighters keep a close eye on what’s happening in the rough terrain. Officials say people can check out the camera system at AlertWildfire.org and if they see something, say something. The information will help in fighting wildfires.
