Most beaches around Southern California should be avoided

Recent storms flushed down dangerous levels of bacteria and chemicals. In addition, a massive sewage spill in Laguna Beach has that part of the coast completely shut down. Because Southern California has been dry for so long, the rain has swept down a large amount of debris and toxins. Avoid most beaches, creeks and rivers through at least Monday.
