Tom Fisher from the National Weather Service says Wednesday’s storm won’t be as big as last week’s system, but it’ll be substantial.

”Right now, we’re forecasting three-quarters of an inch to one-and-a-half inches of rain.”

The heaviest precipitation is expected in and around the San Gabriel Mountains. And most of it will fall during the morning commute.

”Be safe out there, expect some traffic delays. And, if you’re heading to the mountains above seven-thousand feet, be prepared.”

And expect to see crews monitoring recent burn areas for signs of mudslides.
