Senator Kamala Harris is dropping out of the presidential race. The California Democrat has low poll numbers and a shrinking bank account. In San Diego, Congressman Duncan Hunter is pleading guilty to federal charges involving the misuse of over 200-thousand dollars in campaign funds. The 6-term Republican plans to resign from his seat. When that happens, Governor Gavin Newsom will have 14-days to call for a special election.
