BURLINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) — Nicole Thomas is a walking miracle. The Boone County mother of seven suffered an “internal decapitation” and survived. “I’m actually feeling good, considering. I’m moving a lot more now. I’m able to go back to work part-time,” Thomas said. “I have to use a cane, but that’s OK. I can walk, so I’m very grateful for that. ”Last Aug. 16, Thomas was riding her motorcycle near her home. She had practiced in her neighborhood but went to her aunt’s house nearby.
