For over 50 years, the names associated with the 10-acre Bel-Air estate have varied greatly. The LA Times now says Lachlan Murdoch is the newest new buyer – for a record 150-million dollars. The son of News Corp founder Rupert Murdoch will own the same mansion that was featured in “The Beverly Hillbillies” TV show. Lachlan Murdoch is the chairman and CEO of the Fox Corporation and is expected to eventually take over for his 88-year-old father.
