LOS ANGELES – The Dodgers Dream Foundation Charity Golf Invitational will be held Thursday, May 21 at Trump National Golf Club in Ranchos Palos Verdes. Foursomes, twosomes, and individual sponsorships are still available for the eighth annual event. Hole sponsorships, golf cart sponsorships, and donations for raffle prizes and auction items are also available.

ELITE EIGHT: The Dodgers extended their winning streak to eight games and took over sole possession of first place in the National League West with San Diego’s 4-3 loss at Philadelphia. HOME BOYS: By going 6-0 on the homestand, the Dodgers tied the club record for consecutive wins at home to start a season, first accomplished in 1969…the six-game stretch is tied for the third longest in franchise history behind a 9-0 start at Ebbets Field in 1946 and an 8-0 start in Brooklyn in 1947.

POST-GAME NOTES - APRIL 16, 2009

SAN FRANCISCO SWEEP: The Dodgers completed the sweep of the rival Giants with a 7-2 victory Thursday night. The win was the club’s fifth in a row, giving them the longest active streak in Major League Baseball. Eric Stults moved to 2-0 on the season, while Casey Blake and Doug Mientkiewicz each had two RBI. The three-game sweep is the first by the Dodgers over the Giants overall since June 13-15, 2007 and the first at Dodger Stadium since Aug. 11-13, 2006.
