Steve Kindred Reporter/Anchor and former president of the Radio Television News Association (RTNA), joins TalkRadio 790 KABC as news anchor from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Steve will be joining the news team and working side by side with other award winning KABC anchors. Steve Kindred previously was heard on KFWB (980 AM) and KFI (640 AM) where he specialized in live breaking news coverage. 

 

Overseas he was assigned to cover Operation Desert Shield from the bureau in Amman, Jordan. He served for three years as L.A. City Hall Bureau Chief and covered many stories from LA Riots, impeachment hearings for President Bill Clinton and the death of Michael Jackson. Kindred accolades consists of 21 Golden Mike awards for excellence in electronic journalism, Reporter of the year by Associated Press, Outstanding Journalist of the Year by the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), just to name a few.
