CITY OF COMMERCE, Calif. (KABC) -- A local mailman was arrested for allegedly choking an 11-year-old girl at a park in the City of Commerce.

Witnesses said Daniel Villasensor, 55, attacked the child by the restrooms at Bristow Park.

The young girl said it happened after she laughed at him for inadvertently entering the women's restroom.

Villasensor faces child cruelty charges and remains in jail on $100,000 bail. He has been with the U.S. Postal Service for more than 30 years.
