ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST (KABC) -- A hiker who went missing in the Angeles National Forest north of Azusa was found Sunday after spending the night in the wilderness in below-freezing conditions.
Danny Kim, 28, of Arcadia was found around 7:30 p.m. with a laceration on his head, but was alert and answering questions, authorities said. He was transported by helicopter to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center.
Kim was with two companions when he was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the Bear Creek Trail area of the forest. The hikers were separated and Kim had not been seen since. Kim was wearing lightweight clothing and had no flashlight, food or water with him.
