(8/19/2008 6:22:45 AM) I see nowhere to e-mail Doug directly, so here goes - Doug, you advertised that you're having John Bolton as a guest this morning. While you're very entertaining, please just ask the guy some open questions and then allow us to listen to his answer. You tend to get these fantastic guests (Frank Gaffney comes to mind) and then spend at least have the allotted time flapping your gums with your own views and showing how much you know about the situation and hardly letting the guest talk. See if you can get a transcript of your call with Gaffney last year and see what I mean. John Bolton is brilliant. So please let your audience hear what what he has to say. |

(8/13/2008 10:39:26 AM) HiCongratulations Doug for all your contributions airing and organizing the Weiss stand out last week, helping to promote Zine's Motion/Jamille's Law, Walter Moore's baby and hopefully next mayor! As well as Kevin James and all his grand efforts in this regard as well. I hope you will be able to play sound bytes from 8-12-08 County Board of Supervisors hearing re: Sheriff Baca and illegal gangmembers's plight and their plea for funding to interview and get ICE involved. As you know it went well, and they got the funding they asked for. Kevin James made a milestone of a statement/speech in retort to an inane remark by Evelyn Burke. He basically stood up for "minuteman" Raymond Herrera, by saying that illegal immigration is not about "race", and that it involves peoples from all around the world. He said so much more that I believe the community and especially the hispanic community needs to hear. Telemundo even thanked him afterwards. I believe this can help Walter Moore, because often times the hispanic community feels slighted by the issue of illegal gang bangers being sought after..weird i know but it can. Please air the segment between Evelyn Burke Raymond Herrera and Kevin James. Karin |

(8/8/2008 9:17:34 PM) Doug, I listened to your press conference at the office of Jack Weiss with the wonderful Bologna, and Shaw family as well as Mrs. Marsh. I must thank you for your passion in "awakening" the BEASTS! I also went on line today (Los Angeles Times ~as I will not pay for a subscription) only to see another child killed in Lakewood who was approaced (as Jamiel Shaw was) in asking him "Where he is from?" and then proceeding to shoot him in the back (dead). How many body bags does Mr. Weiss want before October? It is time for change ! ~I want to say I will make your next event~but eerily it should not be an event! Keep up the passion!
