'Red Eye Radio' with Doug McIntyre is a weekly two-hour night flight celebrating the great American art form, Jazz and the craft of the popular song as well as intelligent, fun, informative interviews with authors and engaging discussion of the art of writing, movies, theater and television.
Doug McIntyre is host of KABC’s morning drive show, McIntyre in the Morning, weekdays, 5-9 on Talk Radio 790 KABC. For four years, Doug hosted 'Red Eye Radio' from 12-5am five days a week. His presentation of live musical performances and interviews with musicians helped make 'Red Eye Radio' the highest rated overnight show in Los Angeles history.
Boiled Owls and Swell Eggs have heard some of the very best singers and players in the music world on Red Eye Radio, including: John Pizzarelli, Frank Sinatra Jr., Bill Miller, Al Viola, Artie Shaw, Michael Buble, Peter Cincotti, Jane Monheit, Stacy Kent, Jack Sheldon, Melissa Manchester, Diane Schurr, Horace Silver, Kenny Burrell, Maureen McGovern, Mike Melovin, Mike Garson, Ann Hampton Callaway, Keely Smith, Dan Barrett, Rebecca Kilgore, Ray Evans, Jimmy Webb and many, many more.
