A pursuit involving a stolen taxi ended peacefully in South L.A. The pursuit ended at 103rd and Alameda around 3:30 Friday afternoon — when an LAPD tactical vehicle performed a pit maneuver on the stolen cab — and the suspect surrendered peacefully. Here’s what it sounded like on Fox 11 News..
…That’s because the suspect was reportedly armed with a handgun. He allegedly carjacked the Bell Cab in Exposition Park two hours earlier. Many South L.A. residents came out of their homes to cheer him on during the chase.
