A 70-year-old retired LAPD officer is under arrest in Orange County accused of being the infamous Snowbird Bandit. His name is Randolph Adair and it was family members who saw news reports of the Snowbird Bandit and contact law enforcement in Rancho Santa Margarita. Adair is being held on over 200-thousand dollars bail. He earned the nickname Snowbird Bandit because of his age and casual appearance, like that of winter time resident.
