Three people, including a juvenile, are now in custody in connection with the murder of a Downey Police Officer.
In what is now being called an attempted robbery gone wrong, three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Downey Police Officer Ricardo Galvez. Following the pursuit of a suspect vehicle from Downey to Montebello, five people were initially detained. Meanwhile, Sheriff’s SWAT searched homes and apartments in the area where the pursuit ended. One of the three arrested is reportedly the driver of getaway car. The three reportedly told officers they were trying to rob Galvez.
