What do you do when you’re pulling down $11.9 million a year for being a San Francisco quarterback on your way out? Go political. Get everyone to notice you by refusing to stand for national anthem and wearing socks with pictures of pigs in cop uniforms – all purportedly in support of Black Lives Matter.
Sirius XM sports commentator Chris “Mad Dog” Russo says 49ers star Colin Kaepernick is behaving in a very self-centered manner.
“Nobody in the team likes him at all,” says Russo. “As it turns out, this whole scenario with the flag and all this stuff is more about Kaepernick than it is about anything else.”
Russo says if Kaepernick ends up being cut from his team, he will have a hard time finding a new football home.
“This is a guy who’s on his last legs and nobody … no owner in the NFL is going to bring this guy in.”
Not even the Vikings.
Russo was a guest on 790 KABC’s McIntyre in the Morning Show with Doug McIntyre and Terri-Rae Elmer.
