Facebook has apologized to Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg for taking down the iconic Vietnam War-era photo of a naked girl running and screaming after a napalm attack. The 1972 photo won the Pulitzer Prize and played a role in turning the American public away from support of the war. Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg said that Facebook had “global community standards” to adhere to but that it had learned from the mistake.
