It seems that there are a fair number of Latinos in LA who are so distraught at the prospect of a Trump presidency that they’re turning to the supernatural for solace and for metaphysical intervention at the many botanicas throughout the LA area. The “Los Angeles Times” reports that fortune tellers, witch doctors and shamans are sought out for advice and predictions about the Nov. 8 election. Many Latino residents are fearful that because they are in the States illegally, they’ll be forced to return to their home country. So a little magic can go along way to assuage anxieties about imminent deportation under the presidency of “El Tromp.”
