Larry O\’Connor hosts The Larry O\’Connor Show, the politics/pop-culture and lifestyle talk show heard daily from 3PM-6PM on WMAL FM in Washington DC. The two-year-old program is the most listened-to afternoon talk show in the nation\’s capital. Prior to hosting TLOS O\’Connor co-hosted Mornings on the Mall,  WMAL\’s top-rated morning show from 2012 through 2016.

He appears regularly on Fox News on Tucker Carlson Tonight, Fox News at Night with Shannon Bream, Varney and Company and was a regular on the cult hit Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld. Prior to joining WMAL he was the regular guest host for The Dennis Miller Show and The Hugh Hewitt Show.

He is the Associate Opinion editor at The Washington Times where he has a weekly column. Prior to joining the Washington Times, O\’Connor\’s writing appeared at Hot Air, Washington Free Beacon, The Federalist, The Weekly Standard, IJ Review and Andrew Breitbart\’s original collection of websites Big Hollywood, Big Government, Big Journalism and Breitbart.tv.

Prior to O\’Connor\’s six years in Washington DC he lived for twenty years in Southern California. O\’Connor began his career as a general manager and producer in the professional

theatre business. Five years on Broadway working for the Shubert Organization and

ten years in Los Angeles as General Manager of the Shubert Theatre plus another five

years as an independent general manager for a wide variety of theatrical productions

gave him the opportunity to work with the likes of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Glenn Close,

Sir Ian MacKellen, Ruby Dee, Charles Nelson Reilly, Kelsey Grammar, Adam Lambert and,

regrettably, Val Kilmer.

O\’Connor has four children. His oldest is a freshman at UCLA and his three youngest live in Whittier, CA. O\’Connor grew up in Newport Beach, California and is a graduate of Corona del Mar High School.
