The LA Times says Rick Singer worked with a parent who allegedly offered to pay UCLA 100-thousand dollars to get her daughter admitted. The report says the public university launched an internal investigation after the mother apparently revealed the scheme to UCLA. Law enforcement experts tell the paper the university should have done more. UCLA says, at the time, they didn’t realize Singer was behind the vast operation.
