Los Angeles police say the woman died last night, just a few hours after being hit by a car. A teenager who was crossing suffered minor injuries. Police say the accident happened Monday morning in Valley Glen as school was about to start. Investigators report the driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating. They believe he might have been distracted by the sun. Police are calling the fatality a tragic accident.
