The California State Senate is confirming that a red liquid thrown on lawmakers was human blood.

The September thirteenth incident was caught on tape. The anti-vaccine protester can be heard shouting “that’s for the dead babies”.

Lab tests show the blood did not contain any diseases or infections. Several lawmakers hit by the blood left to shower. One Senator was treated for blood exposure. The protester was arrested. 43-year-old Rebecca Dalelio of Santa Cruz County is scheduled to be arraigned in court next month.
