A witness and respected attorney says a key factor in the 2017 Las Vegas outdoor concert massacre is being overlooked. Attorney Brian Claypool was in the crowd at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival when the shots were fired.
“I personally believe there was more than one shooter.”
Claypool adds, “When you’re in the middle of a shooting, and you think you’re going to get killed … you’d be shocked at how aware you are of your surroundings, and I’m positive that I heard two different types of ammunition — like rounds of shots fired.”
He says that in the aftermath, he saw a number of video clips of “muzzle flash” on a bottom floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel.
“They tried to explain that saying it’s a reflection. I do believe that there could have been another shooter, and I personally feel like, from day one — I don’t want to say ‘cover-up,’ but it was meant to present this to the public as if this was just one guy, he had nothing to do with anybody else, because we want to make sure the people come back to Vegas, because it’s a million dollar business.”
He also says there were ominous warning signs before the 2017 Las Vegas outdoor concert massacre that the hotels failed to respond to.
“In May of 2017, there was a credible threat of a lone terrorist committing mass violence on the Vegas Strip. So all of these casinos were supposed to be ramping up and training — it’s called mass-action training — supposed to be doing that at least on a monthly basis, and that was ignored,” Claypool says.
The massacre left 58 dead and about 500 inured. Victims have reached a settlement with MGM Resorts for at least 735 million dollars.
