It’s all happening in the San Fernando Valley, where a police pursuit just after one-thirty Thursday left the motorcycle officer hurt. Authorities were chasing a suspect through Northridge and Granada Hills when the officer crashed. He appeared to be awake before being transported by paramedics. It’s not clear if he was part of the pursuit or just responding to the scene. The suspect jumped from the car and fled into an apartment complex.
