David Rojas was allegedly caught on tape abusing the corpse after responding to an overdose call. Investigators say it happened after his partner left the room and Rojas tried to turn off his body camera, but the camera records for two minutes after it’s deactivated. The 27-year-old is out on bail. The police union is refusing to defend him. If convicted, he could face up to three years in prison for the charge of having sexual contact with human remains.
