L.A. County is waiting for the Health Department to allow for in-store shopping at non-essential retailers. Stores can only offer delivery or curbside service currently despite Governor Newsom and the Board of Supervisors putting pressure on health director PhD Barbara Ferrer to loosen restrictions. They expect to hear from Ferrer today with an update to the current policy. No word on when decision on hair salons might come.
