(Palo Alto, CA) — There’s a new number one automaker. This week, Tesla officially became the most valuable car manufacturer in the world, easily overtaking Toyota. Company stock hit an all-time high Wednesday, as it has doubled since the start of the year. Now Tesla is worth more than 207-billion-dollars. Toyota has a market cap of 202-billion. And things are looking up for Tesla, as all-electric cars are expected to dominate the auto market in the coming years.
