(Chicago, IL) — Chicago police are investigating several deadly Fourth of July shootings. Authorities say 16 people were killed and over 75 others were wounded across the city. The youngest victim is a seven-year-old girl who was shot in the head while visiting family members on the city’s West Side. Meanwhile, three children were among the eight people shot when someone opened fire on a group of people watching fireworks in Englewood. A 14-year-old boy was among the four people killed in that shooting. Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the killers.
