(Brooklyn, NY) — Ghislaine Maxwell, the ex-girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged madam, is due to appear before a New York City judge next week for arraignment and a bail hearing. She faces charges in Manhattan federal court, as prosecutors accuse her of recruiting minors for Epstein to sexually abuse in the 1990s. The 58-year-old British socialite denies the charges, after she was arrested last week in New Hampshire. She’s being jailed in Brooklyn, and will appear before a judge remotely by video on Tuesday, July 14th.
